Sadly we received news today that one of our forum members, Walkingman, took his own life. His wife logged in to find out if he left any indication that he was planning on doing so 
Several of us want to do something to mark this sad occasion, and have agreed not to post anything - a "forum silence" between 6pm and 6.10pm tonight, in honour of this member and the family he leaves behind, and to remember that Christmas isn't a happy occasion for some, who are remembering those who are no longer with us

May I also use this thread as a reminder that this is very much intended as a peaceful tribute, and ask that should you see somebody posting during that time, please don't make a big deal out of it - we don't want to start a war, just to do something simple out of respect.
Apologies if you have already seen the numerous threads about it - but you can guarantee some will miss them so I thought it was worth adding another now its getting close to 6pm.
