At a loss what to do.

As some of you know my little Gaby cat is battling away at the moment. She was doing OK but her jaw has moved further over this morning and she seems to be struggling to eat again. She's bright enough but I'm starting to think about making that decision and it is hurting. We are back at the vets on Wednesday unless it moves back.
I am always guided by my vet, he is also a very good friend and I know he will tell when enough is enough. But just feeling a bit low and need to know what you would do. She is quite thin as she also has an overactive thyroid which has just been diagnosed.

Just trust your self to know what is right and your vet to tell you. Lots of big hugs, horrible decission to have to make. But you will know if it's the right one.

Its so hard knowing what to do isn't it. If you totally trust your vet I would be guided by him, and your own gut feeling. Fingers crossed her jaw moves back.

Sorry to hear that! For what it's worth the overactive thyroid is extremely easy to treat. Maggie was put on Felimazole and was back to normal in no time. Whenever she looks thin now we re-check the thyroid and adjust the dosage, it works out really well. Hope her jaw heals!

Talk to your vet - you will do the right thing for her - in the meantime I hope she feels a bit better

She is on Felimazole so hopefully we are on the right track with that. It's this flippin' jaw. Just when we start to get somewhere it moves again, Am hoping vet will be able to help on Weds.
