At a loss...

as to what to wear now!
I have my BHS 1 exam on Monday (I know its only basic but im quite excited to maybe have a qualification in this after 20 odd years!) and I treated myself to a lovely new Caldene hacking jacket to wear (then Ill wear it daily as I have to dress smart to rideout) as my parents had given me a present of some spare dosh! Only I have found out that they have been trying to deliver it to the wrong door and now I wont get it in time

sorry for pointless post but I was just disapointed and no one else will listen!

Is there no way that you can collect it from the post office?

Do you have any horsey friends of a similar size who could lend you a jacket suitable for the exam?

I asked if they could leave it at my local post office so i could pick it up but they took it back to the depot

very frustrating!
Maybe Ill give BHS a call and see what suitable attire is LOL
I have been revising hard but i did worry some people yesterday when I called the sheth the sternum WTF?!?! I do know what the sheath is just for the record but my mouth doesnt always co-ordinate with brain hehe! Will post on Monday to let u know how i do or what silly things I said! xxx

I looked at the website a while ago when I was thinking about doing them and I think you can wear a plain v-neck jumper with shirt and tie underneath and plain jodhs?

Don't panic, you will be fine. If you know you have given the wrong answer say I'm sorry I didn't mean x I should have said y (examiner expect you to be nervous).

One tip - relax, and breathe. And be prepared for some funny looks if you call the sternum the sheath

Aw, it's really disappointing when something like that happens.

But I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine on the day, and that you won't make any more anatomical errors!!!

Don't let this put you off Cavblacks - you'll be fine. Just remember, they are there to find out what you know, not to trip you up and if you do make a mistake just correct yourself and admit to being nervous - you're only human and they will be expecting everyone to feel that way!
