After Lady bucking me off in september and getting my foot stuck in the stirrup, to be honest i totally lost interest in horses, but didnt want to sell her, and couldn't find anyone to ride her.
So have hardly been riding at all, just a quick ride around the block just so she was ridden.
A friend phoned me up last night and pestered me until i said i would ride out with her today.
I was having palputations on my way to the field worring about how it would go, as i know my friend is a bit of a speed demon, and i hadn't cantered since i was bucked off.
In the end we were out for 4 hours, we went across a motorway bridge, never done that before and we were lead horse so she amazed me. we cantered through a big open field with scary sheep, and even when my friend opened her horse up into gallop Lady listened to me and stayed in canter, listening to me is another first....lol
So im on a high and planning lots of big adventures for this year!
