Came across an article in the Telegraph that you might find interesting. If you live in and/or around London then www.Zubedpi.com gives you up to date crime statistics for where you live or might move to. Apparently this site is soon to cover the whole of the UK and include schools data etc.

Worth a look because it could be a really cool site particularly as it grows
