Its been nearly two years since i actually rode properly. Ive bare backed to the field, and done a few circles in the arena, but today i actually hacked out! For an hour! And thoroughly enjoyed it! That is all!
at last, i got on and stayed on!

Well, i sort of had a break because of bad weather, then she had a bit of rains scald, then the weather was bad, then it was winter, and very dark. You get the picture? Lol. Not the most confident rider anyway, and it just got easy not to do it i guess.
i moved yards a few months ago, and was determined to make a fresh start. Another new lady asked if I'd like to go out with her, and i was commited!

Well done, it`s so easy here in Scotland for weeks to go by and not ride because of the weather, and then confidence goes and it becomes hard to get back in the saddle. Keep it up, sounds as though you thoroughly enjoyed your hack!

Thanks guys i really did enjoy, and i had lovely company. We have fantastic woodland rides around our local country park, it would be a shame not to enjoy it.
