OK - no comments - we've done this to death already.

Let us just do what H&H should have done already on it's website polls....

'Banned' means from all equestrian competitions, nationally and internationally.

I've set it so the results remain invisible until the 10th June - cannot see the FEI coming to any decision before then

it's a 'secret ballot' if you like so people are not influenced by the 'current score' so should be more impartial I hope - ie. the AT 'fanclub' can vote but won't know if their vote is going to make any difference or not until the end

I'm hoping that this 'secret ballot' will also be worthwhile sending to the FEI at the end.
 
Well don't forget to post the results then else we'll all have forgotten it!

Any chance you can tell us in a couple of days how many people have voted, that won't let the cat out of the bag and could draw in a few people that don't go back through old posts? The more the better if you're sending it in to the authorities. Just a thought!
 
I won't - 10th is my old friend in France's b'day - so I'll remember that - hence the date

and I'm curious to see the results myself - but I've copied what H&H themselves do by not posting until the poll is over

Intend to forward to FEI at the end as well
 
Would it be worth asking Admin to make this a sticky? Not sure if they would or not but it would keep it at the top and more people would see it that way.
 
thoguht about that but recent discussions have been 'guessing' that she'll get a non-event of a 6 month ban so that she is available for the Olympics next year - hence her ambulance chasing with Poggio at competitions in the last 2 weeks

tbh I think a ban of 6 months or less is the equivalent of 'no ban' as it'll mean that her actions have been condoned as 'bad riding' rather than abuse

anyone that knows how to ask admin to make this a sticky please do - it took me long enough to put it together as a poll as never done one before !!
 
perhaps admin thinks that it's too controversial

we'll just have to keep chatting to keep it at the top and get people to vote so that it comes up in the 'most read' postings in next week's mag
 
I feel you should ask only people who have seen the video to vote. I truly dont think anyone who hasnt seen it should have an opionion on this. Sorry!! They are just as bad as the Tryon defenders who havent seen it.
 
there have been reports in h&H both regarding the issue and printing mark phillips defence of her

there have also been plenty of links here and tbh the absence of defence of her is deafening

in abstract - what we are asking is that if a top rider rides a horse home that is patently on 3 legs and hopping lame what degree of sanction should they face from the sports controllers

a lot who didn't see the youtube clip have downloaded or seen a copy that someone else has downloaded from nbc - lots more people have seen that film than you think !!!!!!!
 
Im confused if the above comment is towards me? If so I havent a clue what you are talking about? "A lot more people have seen this video then you may think!!!" How please educate me can this apply to my comment "I would only hopen people who have seen the abuse on tape or live or what ever only vote" Please excuse me I am an American and abosutley lost how your comment applies to what I said. Not being an ass please explain?

at least with the hearing on the 25th June the results of this poll on the 10th June can be forwarded to the FEI before the hearing
