Attaching antlers to bridle?!

Well...6sleeps till 1st December so I can officially wear tinsel and antlers out riding!

I refused to pay £15 for horsey antlers so bought so human ones for 99p!

So how can i attatch them to my bridle?! Without them coming off down the canter stretch!...
Feel free to post pictures of your horses in thier antlers/hats/tinsel!
Mine will be up next week!

If the antlers are attached to a headband then tie the headband on the headpiece of the horse by using either, string, ribbon or even wrap around pipe cleaners to secure in place

As above stick in browband loops and tie to head piece if your still worried

Yep, as before. Get the ones on a headband and tie them to the headpiece/browband. I have pictures of this somewhere!

FWIW I did the same OP on a Christmas ride a few years ago. The antlers and band stayed on but unfortunately my horse was a bit of a knob that day, strong and excited and his antlers were broken and droopy by the end of the ride lol.

Thats what i'm worried about, but i'm lucky, apart from loving a good ol' run, my girlie is a star, so they *should* stay on! Just un-sure of how to fix them! X

Thanks for all of this, was wondering about how to do this for Mini TX as she has managed to get herself invited to a xmas rally courtesy of our PC branch, and there's choclolate for the best xmas costume.!!!!!!!! Of course, she wants to win it, after all, who doesnt like chocolate?

(This is the same nearly 18 year old who storms around BE Novice xc courses and thinks PC is a tiny bit uncool at her age .......... bless).

In 1975 I went carol singing in aid of the RDA. Some were on horseback, some on foot. My friend, dressed at Father Christmas, rode my horse Bamber, who was dressed as Rudolf, wearing home made antlers (wire and tin foil) and a red bauble on his nose.

I led a shetland, who was dressed as an angel, and had a huge collection box (biscuit tin ) on his back. It was evening, and one pub landlord invited myself and the angel to come into the pub and do a circuit asking for donations.

We got lots of cash in the pub, but unfortunately the shetland did a very unangelic large poo in the middle of the public bar area. The landlord took it in good heart and as he swept it up he thanked the pony for the donation for his roses.
