I have just bought my first ever jump saddle, due to be delivered soon, and need a girth that will allow me to use a martingale, Im looking at something like the Stubben coolmax girth with a D ring, but I have no clue how i attach my martingale to it, or if they are even secure? I dont have unlimited funds for a swanky leather stud girth and my mare doesn't get on with a prolite.

I can't really tell how long this is - I would be careful about how much it all hangs down - you're adding some length and weight. You don't want one of those awful accidents where a stud or shoe heel gets caught in the the martingale mid jump and brings the horse down.
