Attempted horse theft - MIDLANDS

Went out to do evening feeds at our stables (at the back of our house!!) was checking the fencing and found one gate (nearest to the road) with 4 of the substantial chains to lock it cut and left on the floor, gate nearly half open and a very old rusty headcollar (not mine) laid on the ground behind some nettles. Our horses are worth decent amounts, and god knows what would have happened tonight if I hadn't checked gate! Our horses will be staying in for a while to be safe, and just wanted to warn others!

Still no reports through to Worcestershire Horse Watch

Get a alarm for your gate,it will go off if tampered with. Put dummy cameras up and a warning sign CCTV 24 hour recording.(you can put a sign up anyway).
