Hi all,
Farrier came yesterday has trimmed my girls and one has bruising in all four feet in the white line. I was not present at the trim as I could not get out of work, so have called him and spoke this morning. Her shoes were taken off end November as NS diagnosed. Currently following the trim she is a little sore on them, but I guess this is from the bruising in the toes? I asked why this has appeared and he remarked how, had he not known the horse and just come to trim her, how much her heels have dropped! The phone cut out during the words "heel toe action" so now (obviously quite excited!!!) am thinking that at last she is beginning the process of going heel first, and the bruising is from toes too long and landing toe first??
Any thoughts?
