I have a slight problem....

some of you lovely people have emailed me, and some have not, but have said they want to take part on the thread above. Some people have told me their usernames here and some haven't... all of which is giving me a bit of trouble in totting up how far we've covered! I can't count people who have said they want to take part on the thread because I can't be sure I'm not double counting people

Now, so far according to the emails 31 people are walking - but I am sure there are more who haven't emailed me, so please, if you haven't emailed could you?

We are well short of the distance at the moment, but I am positive that I haven't accounted for everybody!

Anyway, there are 5 of us, walking a distance of 10.7 miles. Do hope there are more than 31 , don't fancy walking any further.

Cyrus was going to get her club involved but not sure how many are doing it?

Also Ravenwood had a posse ready to walk?

Basically we have a further 482 miles to cover off

However it is doable I think, between everyone! A few people emailed and said they were going to rope more people in but they haven't told me how many they have got yet. I am still confident we can do this

It's been a loooong few weeks, my brain is frazzled

430 miles now covered. 444 to go!

HH - I have, so far, at least 20 people joining my walk and we are walking 10 miles - hope that helps.

Trouble is, it seems to have grown so big that I won't be able to give you a total head count until the day - sorry!

Infact, due to the numbers we are not now going to the pub but walking to a friend's house (who lives very near the pub) and she is going to cook and serve us lunch (although a few of us are bringing a large dish of food in the morning!). I am also going to buy 2 boxes of wine so we can all have a drink each and people are donating prizes so that I can do a draw at lunchtime - should be fun

Fingers crossed its not pouring with rain and foggy on the moors!!

Also, we are going to hold a minutes silence at 11 am.

Hulloo - been lurking for a bit but your walk got me to get brave and register - I did email before but not with a full count.

7 of us at the moment doing 10 miles around the hill at the back of the house - will try and lure a few more with the promised boozy lunch afterwards... so that's another 70 miles at least?

I have roped in a friend and we are off next Friday - will be a total of 14 miles.

the dogs (Max and her 2 collies) will cover about 30 miles each whilst running ciricles........St Sweep and her oldest collie will do about 14.5 miles - does that count???
