You mentioned in the car whining thread that you wanted to see a pic of another Doberman so enjoy this one - a very young me with our family dog Winston. I loved that dog and would have another one in a heartbeat. He was a chunky boy too as you can see:

And before anyone says anything, I'm well aware that Winston and I bear an uncanny likeness to each other ...

Aah thank you, Winston was lovely and has the look of my lovely dog Fred who I lost last year. Cant beat a good Dobe they can turn their paw to anything plus brains, beauty & elegance.

Thanks. We got him from a breeder in Gloucestershire as a pup. He really was a great dog. I think they tend to be smaller over here although you never really see many of them outside of the tv ...

Hmm, not sure. Not to date myself, but we got him in about 1984 I think. I'll have to ask my mum to see if she remembers who he came from. I do remember going to pick him up though and it wasn't someone with a lot of dogs. I think it was in Dursley ...

I probably don't get out enough to really see them these days with the socially inept dog but back when I did I never saw them in dog parks around here. Maybe it's a geographical thing.
