Thought I would post this under breeding, as this is where she is normally found on here, and where most of her followers gather.

She has sent me a text message today asking me to let you all know that she is in hospital and wont be online for a while. She has had to have an emergency operation (yesterday) and will be kept in for further ops, so she is unsure how long she will be in for.

I was also wondering if there is anyone near to Cliveden or that knows Tessa that could perhaps arrange some ridden photos/vids of her boy to cheer her up a bit? All those with Tobagolings, I am compiling a bit of a photo montage (if that is how its spelt!) to send to her, so could people email or pm me pics of Tobagolings please - zoeshiloh@hotmail.com

Lets all hope Kate gets well soon!

wishing Kate a speedy recovery I understand from other forums that she has quite a bad time with her health, are you able to say what it is she suffers from? Will understand completely if not. x

Wishing her to be out and about again ASAP.
Great idea ref the montage, I hope you get lots of pics.

Sorry to hear that Kate is not well, sending my Best Wishes for a quick recovery and hoping that this op helps.

I think it would be a lovely idea to get some photos of Tobago for her.

Really sorry to hear that do hope she is out of there soon, had a friend recently who was in for five weeks and really needed cheering up so great idea with the pics. Please give her my best wishes when you visit.

Thank you so much for the up-date - of course we wish her well and also Cruiseline who has been out of the picture for a while.

I am missing them both and hope it won't be too long before they are back on the forum.

Bon Chance

Wishing Kate a very speedy recovery and hoping she gets out to see her beautiful boy really soon.

Thanks to something apparently called a 'dongle' (yes I know it sounds rude), I am actually online, despite still being in hospital!

Thank you zoe for posting, and everyone for your good wishes. I am very, very woozy and in a lot of pain so please don't expect much sense (not that you ever got much of that from me anyway).

But I am online! My wonderful husband Henry understands how important it is for me to be able to communicate with my friends while I'm incarcerated in here having large chunks of my intestines chopped out. So he dashed out and bought me a brand new laptop and this dongle thing! Wasn't that lovely of him?

It seems I will be in hospital for some time - at least another month - as I am very sick and a lot of my toxic insides have to be removed, but before that can happen I have to be fattened up, cos I am horribly thin and malnourished (which may have contributed to my developing Epilepsy a few years ago).

For those who were asking, the illness I have is called Crohn's Disease - a very severe and complex case and now have a gut full of beastly abscesses and goodness knows what.

But the nice doxtors and surgeons will do their best to fix me me!

Ooof. Tired now. Lots of love to all my HHO chums. I hope Cruiseline is OK?

Not that it's funny that anybody is ill, but it is a little bit funny that neither you (Htobago) or Puppy can stay away from HHO, though being at hospital. Makes me think there should be some sort of Honorary Members of HHO Addicts clique.

Sorry to hear you have a severe case of Crohn's disease, from what I know, it's a complicated disease with all sorts of ins and outs and no real cure. I hope the (Oops

) doctors can fix you.
In time for the big foaling season if nothing else, the photos of PapaFrita's foal had already made me look forward to viewing your proud posts with new "Tobagolings" photos.

{{{Recovery vibes}}} and {{{Hugs}}} to Htobago.

Oh Kate, I have only just seen this post of Zoe's! Glad you are feeling well enough to get online and what a fabulous man Henry sounds!! Huge and gentle hugs to you my sweet! xx

Got both arms free briefly while the doctors have a discussion abiut changing whatever drugs they are dripping into my useless, tiny and constantly collapsing veins - so the few minutes of freedom means I can write to my dear chums on here.

Thank you all so much again for your sweet messages. Very dizzy from drugs (sorry - me, I mean, not your messages!!) so please don't expect any sense.

It seems my next operations are in about 2 weeks, providing I am in a fit state - i.e. big enough and nourished enough.

Meanwhile, to be honest things have been pretty awful and painful. I am glad that no-one at Cliveden would ever dream of treating my dear Tobago the way NHS patients are often treated.

But never mind about all that - I'm sure I'll be better soon. And it is a huge relief and pleasure to be able to chat to you lot! (Thanks to my wonderful Henry! He is totally non-horsey, but he knows that coming on here makes me happy, so he'll run out and buy lap-tops and dongles and god knows what to make it possible. And he's framing that big photo of Tobago 'waving' to hang on the wall facing my bed. Quite extraordinarily kind..)

I'm concerned about Cruiseline though - she's back home, I think, but I don't know how she's getting along. I do hope she's OK?

I'm not really up for visitors yet, but it would be lovely to see a photo or two of my boy and/or any Tobagolings. How incredibly sweet of you to think of this Zoe and Mother-Hen. I really don't have words to thank you.

Ach. Gotta go be tortured again by some doctors. Sorry. Talk later.

xxxx

Hi Kate, thought I'd post on here as you're probably more likely to check than emails! and if anyone goes to visit please pass on message and love from all at Cliveden..

Tobago is going FANTASTICALLY!!
Mat is coming up on Thurs to ride him..
But yes just super, been riding through a few prelim tests on him and he's just so lovely.
and not breaking anything! (Tobago thinks breaking/ripping/shredding anything and watching us pick up all the bits is really funny!!)

So really in everyone's good books...

Hope you get a chance to read this and that you're feeling a bit better soon

Much Love xxxx

Another few minutes of quiet so I'm back again. Thank you so much for your post Bonnie! I am very pleased to hear that Tobago is going so well, and that having something interesting to occupy his mind has stopped him entertaining himself by trashing things.

It's OK (ish) when it's just rugs and sheets and headcollars and so on, but trashing his stable was starting to get a bit expensive!!

It's very, very kind of people to offer to visit me here, but to be honest I'm just not up for visitors yet, I'm afraid. I can find OK moments here and there to come online briefly, but the pain is very bad and very erratic, and until we get it under control I really can't face seeing anyone except immediate family. My husband and sister have been here holding my hands, bless them, but that's all.

Another beastly pain-attack now - gotta go - sorry.

I don't post very often but I am a regular visitor to the H&H forum and I always love to read about Tobago's antics and see pictures of all of his beautiful babies. Take care Kate and I hope you are feeling better soon. xxx
