I would love to get in touch with my horses previous owner and am hoping someone on here may know her? (long shot but worth a try?!) I bought him through a yard and didnt have any contact with the owner, so all I have is the following:
His previous owner was called Fiona and lived in mock tudor house near the detling show ground (I have contemplated driving around but that is a bit stalker-ish!). She apparently rescued him as a yearling or 2 yr old and he was in a very poor state. I am not sure where he was from, but he may have been seen in a field rather than at a sale, so possibly was also foaled in the Kent area?
Horse details: Jerry, foaled in 2000, believed IDxTB. Now stands 17hh, pure orange chestnut with no white markings except small ring around near hind hoof. He was sold to me through a yard in 2004 as a just backed rising 4yo and at the time was standing at 16.1hh.
I have asked the yard where I purchased him from for the old owners info but it has been lost. I was told at the time of purchase that the owner lacked time etc. etc. but subsequently found out that she had a nasty fall from him. Explains why Ive never been given her details!!!
Just to add, he is a lovely horse and although weve had some lows weve had some fantastic highs and he will be with me for life. I would love to know more about him and am sure his old owner would like to know hes ok.
