After losing Jason last weekend we moved our other horse into a different paddock with no trees around it. Twice a day we have checked for tree seedlings & dead leaves.
Today my other horses sharer took him jumping. He seemed a bit quiet when she got him in but he can be like that sometimes. When she got him in the warm up he just wasn't happy with no energy. She took him back & got another livery to check him - I was miles away. They phoned me to ok getting the vet out & he was taken straight to the hospital. He is in intensive care. Just feeling devastated, beyond crying now. Need to get a new yard lined up for if he makes it.

oh how awful! So many healing vibes for your horse - cannot believe what you are going through. Have you got someone to look after YOU? You must be in shock. Do so so hope he pulls through. x x

HC.. Do you still have seedlings and leaves in your field? Or have you managed to get them all? If you haven't got any then it must be some thing else causing it?
Is their any way you can restrict the remaining horses turn out time to just three or four hours?x

No overnight phone call so I am hoping that is good news.
Today I am going to busy myself packing up all my stuff at the yard. Either way I won't have a horse there again.

I don't know what to say other than I have everything crossed that your horse makes a full and speedy recovery. I can't imagine what you are going through, I hope everything works out for you.
