Hi folks,

My pony is out 24/7 at the moment but come winter will need to be brought in overnight. My local saddlery supply aubiose at £7.50 a bale and originally I was going to order from them but from reading on here wood pellet is pretty good and cheaper. I'm considering getting five star but want people's thoughts on the two types of bedding before committing to a pallet!

Ive never used aubiose, but i do use wood pellets. I find them a god send. They are quick, easy and cheap. I get mine from Liverpool Wood pellets.

Thanks Nix. It's £5 a bag for the five star bedding if I order half a pallet which works out cheaper than aubiose. I used to loan a horse on aubiose and found it really good and easy to muck out. I don't have much experience with wood pellet but a friend uses it for her guinea pig and found it really good!

Lucky you with Aubiose at that price! I'm paying £10.50
Also wondering how they compare, I do like Aubiose but my stable floor at new yard is slightly uneven flagstones and it's not been as great as it was at the last place.
