Is that how to spell it right?
Anyway, whats the difference between above and shavings? Is there a quick way to get all the muck out (scattered bits!) - its just like a shavings bed - right??

Its a lot heavier than shavings, so once you have an established bed it won't move around as much as shavings. I hate traditional wood shavings - I love aubiose !

I often use rubber gloves and poo pick the small bits by hand.

Aubiose is much easier to manage than shavings - but no good if you expact a snowy white bed, as you just need to pick out the droppings and the worst of the wet. But the horses seem v comfortable on it - and it rots down a lot quicker than shavings - so local gardeners will be keen to take it away as manure for their gardens (so saves costs of dispsoal)

I'm an Aubiose fan, moved onto it last winter after couldn't get Hunter shavings for love nor money. Though would agree with someone above who says it did dry out my pony's hooves a bit over the summer as he has to be in off the grass for some time every day. I think it's much more absorbent so I chuck out less each day and doesn't move once you've got the right depth sorted, doesn't stick to coat and mane/tail either.
