Sorry Joss, hate to be the bearer of bad news but thought you'd all best know
. It's eased off a bit, and it might not be so bad across that way - will text someone more local for an update. I'll not be back on till Tuesday after today as taking a long weekend but can keep you posted from then on in (or PM me your mobile no. and you can have text updates and post them for me lol!)
I'm not even competing at it and the first thing I'm doing in the am is check what the weather's doing for you lot!
I'm sorry- I've a feeling the rain may be all my fault, I'm going campin this weekend!!
However we are going north, to Carnoustie, so I would have thought the rain would stay more local to there and the rest of Scotland would be bathed in glorious sunshine...!
Fingers crossed for everyone hoping to compete there that it dries up next week.
It's stopped again! Just checked in with my most local source but she's halfway to Wales & The West for the HPI. Think admin should sticky given that so many seem to be going!
Oh what a pest. I've never been before and it's a 5 hour drive so I hope if they do cancel it they do it in advance because the last thing we want is a 10 hour round trip for nothing!
Here we go guys straight from the horses's mouth so to speak!!! Auchinleck course is looking good, the ground was very hard 1 week ago and therefore the heavy showers and bad rain we had yesterday has been absorbed. Today we had a really good wind and some quite nice bouts of sunshine which has been great. Hopefully pictures of the new water jumps will be on the website tomorrow.<font color="red">
