I have not been to an Auction in Holland, but I can thoroughly recommend the Hannovarian Auction in Verden, Germany. They have several through the year, normal horses and Elite horses. www.hannoveraner.com
There are many auctions in Holland, don't be put off by glitzy brochures either, you will often find that there are horses with a wide range of prices attached to them.
www.reesink.nl is an excellent website with amazing links to their own Performance Plus Auction plus others. They have the site translated into English as well as other languages.
