Hi , i am a third year equine degree student. and having to do use this program to design a cross country fence in 2d and 3d(eventually) however i am having great difficulty, if anyone has any experience please get in touch

Hi Doz,

I can use AutoCAD 2007, 2010, 2011, Keysign, Keyline & PDS line for a living. How can I help you? Highways normally my thing but happy to have a go drawing anything.
 
this is the 'objective' from the assignment brief

Students are to design a fence for a cross-country event. The parameters for the design are collected on a
site visit and from reference material. Alternative designs are evaluated at a concept stage and the chosen
design drawn up in CAD.
Tasks:
1. Produce a detailed 2D side, front, plan, and section (if necessary) drawings of a fence design using CAD.
2. Produce a series of LAYOUTS with proper scales, colours, annotations, and images for the proposal.
3. Produce an A3 portfolio for the whole design proposal with all the computer files – DWG format.

i am not thick at computer software however this is the first time i have use AUTOCAD and the lecturer is non equine and thinks we already know all of the basic functions which we do not! and not very helpful

So basically the assignment is to take a cross country fence from say Burghley and produce it in 2D form on AUTOCAD .

i hope this makes sense thanks for any help !
