Average weight for standard shetty?

Hi, its time to worm and I've lost my weigh tape, please could you let me know how much your slightly podgy 8-9hh standard shetlands weigh :/

My little was just weighed at the vets and was 180kg. I'm unfortunately not entirely sure on his height but I would guess around 9hh max (very chubby!) and not as stocky as most.

I'd go for 250kgs.

My 33inch solid Tiny Fuzzy, is approx 200. Reg mini shettie.
Despite STILL wearing a grazing muzzle for 12 hrs in daytime on poor pony grazing over 3 acres up the slope and having 4lb of soaked hay overnight in the diet paddock, she still looks a bit of a dumpling :redface3:

Nev is a 40" standard shetland and is about 230kgs she's pretty sleek for a shetland

So if I worm for 250kgs (fat wee ******) that would be about right, not over or underdosing?

Mine are just over 9hh and just under 10hh...both weighed 230kgs so I gave them to 250kgs.

I breed shetlands - our 32" (8hh) shetlands weigh approx 150kg, our 34" (8.2hh) weigh approx 175kg, and 36" (9hh) weigh approx 200kg. I then have one at 38" (9.2hh) at approx 220kg, and finally a pony of 11.2hh who weighs around 325kg. These are all ponies of good solid bone.

I worm mine at 220, hes probably nearer 200 though as he's quite trim due to the laminitic diet.

We have a mini Shetland, I've never measured her, but she comes up to my mid thigh, she was weighed at the vets at 150kg and is not fat due to strict muzzling!

My neighbour weighed her rescue Shetland mare and she's 243kg, about 10hh and not overweight.
