Average Weight People on Ordinary Horses

Do they not find themelves a bit boring?
I know people of around 10 stone who ride ordinary middleweight sort of horses of no fixed breed at a pace I can only describe as average over small to medium size fences.
Could they not do something more interesting?

So, people of 'average' weight riding 'average' horses around a course at 'average' speed and presumably enjoying themselves (averagely;)) are boring is this what you are saying?

Obviously you are not one of these 'average' people so why does it bother you enough to actually write about it? :)

Not sure you are gonna get too many replies on this one, as obviously we are all either overweight blobs on our horses, or underweight feathers that fly away in a gust of wind!!!!! I am loving this forum this morning!!
 
As an underweight rider I find your comments disgusting and insulting ;P I am constantly striving to be ordinary and everyday it is a battle to try and achieve my goals. I feel that you are being very blind to people's feelings!

*toddles off to find adverts of thoroughly ordinary horses*

average people will only ever achieve average things in life.

Dont know why they bother to get their average little arses out of bed in the morning........
 
I am a person of average weight, who rides horses of average size in an average manner. However I make up for this by being chronically ginger. I get over this by always riding with a paper bag on my head, to avoid causing any stampedes.
 
Now you see I don't really know where I fit in.

I'm an average weight on an average horse. However his weight is above average and my level of riding is below average. Do I need to start another thread? :confused::confused:;)
 
but it's a serious issue.
Government statistics show that boring people quite often die of boredom. There is a wide margin of error since, tragically, quite often, no one notices.
Imagine the distress to the admittedly dull and uninteresting non rearing non bucking horses.
 
What with three threads now going, we're gonna have to put ourselves into camps :p I'd like to be in the underweight one, but don't qualify - I like to think i'm not vastly overweight (for the boy that is only :o), so i guess i'm gonna have to land splat into the boring one. But I do feel that i belong in the larger camp. But i luckily have a very heavy cob. So confusing........;)

skewbald_again - I presume that the boring people actually bore themselves to death?

I was bored yesterday but luckily I got over that. I think it was due to the average people I work with..

Luckily for me, I am an average weight but I drink excessively therefore cant remember being boring....

Just your average wind up, seen a few of those since being on here, sometimes I can't resist answering them though;)
Right then, I'm off out to check on my average Paints and palominos, school a few average QH's and bank a few average checks for the average ones I sold yesterday. Just another average day.

if you ride with a paer bag on your head, I hope you've still got your hat on underneath or is the bag to hide a ginger beard?

I just get terribly terribly upset about it. It's so upsetting. After all, if no one was average, it wouldn't be average to be average would it. And then we would all be not average, and it would be average to be exceptionally something or other, so we owe average people a huge debt of gratitude I would say personally, and I'm the kind of person who says what I think and then puts up with the consequences, I'm just jolly and fun and forthright and ... well anything but average really but I feel like I should speak up for average people. Even though they are boring.

I like to see gingers riding very ginger-looking chestnuts. Just thought I'd put that out there. It makes me feel happy. I lead quite a fruitless existence :p:D
