Aviform Suppleaze Progen

Has anyone tried it? I currently use the Suppleaze Gold (which I have had really good results with) and thinking about trying the new one so interested in any opinions/experiences?

Hi, like you I'm on the Gold with very good results...I tried the new one and didn't get on with it at all, Aviform was very good and changed it for the gold.

My mare has been on it for 4 weeks with the Gold which is the recommended loading method. She is off her head to ride atm so something is making her feel happy to be alive. No other dietry or management changes - jury's out for me, could be supplement, could be spring grass.

Thank you. I used to have him on Cortaflex and had really good results when I changed to the Gold. He can be quite fussy so I am always very cautious in changing any of his diet so I think until the Progen is more established and whilst I am still getting the results with the Gold I will leave him as he is. No point in changing what is working.

Figgy - in what way didn't you get on with it?

Has anyone had any update on this? I have started it and horse seems much brighter but unsure as yet whether its the supplement or the spring grass!

I'm currently halfway through a tub of this for my 24yr old. After not having him on a joint supplement for sometime. I have recently upped his work, he has stayed sound, he can be prone to lameness with increased work, he has coffin bone arthritis. He looks well, feels perky, but who knows. He hasn't turned into a 6yr old overnight, I will report further once i am further along the tub.


I got this whilst it was on offer. I may well try he supplease gold once it has ran out as it is cheaper, but if i notice a decline I will try this again.

I must admit, after this post I decided to stay with the supplease gold and not try the new one.

Does anyone have any updates on this? I'm near the end of my 5kg tub of Gold and unsure whether to try Progen or not!

I am still using it at the moment. Horse has been much more energetic all summer but can't be sure it is this product. Have now put older horse on it as well and also appears to be an improvement but it's early days. Am only using a low dose for both. Would be interested to know how anyone else has got on.
