Can anyone tell me how to get my avitar to show?Its i my Profile but doesn't show when I post anything

Oh dear, I'm no expert but I recently did mine (lots of trial & error!). Go to User CP thern Edit avatar, then you have to browse & select the photo you want to use. Hope this works - at least it might bump up your post so you can reach more expert help!

O.K. Done that...again!It shows up but not on here (but the again it keeps telling me I can use smilies but I can't,I have to make them up on the keyboard

ok, go back to userCP, go to 'edit options' under settings and options and at 'thread display options' there are boxes to check on what shows up on your threads......

Done that,it's ticked on Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in code

The signatures here and I can post images but still no Avitar!

Have gone into the jinglejoys profile section and there's my Avitar Picture but in my Edit Avitar Page it says

Your Current AvatarNo Avatar Specified Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.

And I can't get rid of that dot in the Do not use avatar box

User CP > edit avatar > click in the 'circle' beside Use Custom Avatar > click the browse button > select a photo of the correct size/type > click save changes button

Arghhhhhhhhhh all went well until the last step and then (despite showing it until I pushed the last button")it said it had failed! I'll try again tomorrow

Well it must've worked, you've got an avatar now!!
