on the 8th i bought some items from chaosequestrian.com...... well i wish i hadnt

they sent me a confirmation a day later saying the items had been dispatched and would be with me through royal mail the next working day (i allowed 5 days) and it still hasnt arrived by today that is 9 days!!!! i have emailed all contacts they have on there website i have called the numbers supplied and left messages and no one has emailed me or called me to give me an answer... i cant look on royal mail to track it as i dont have the tracking number so cant even check if items have been sent! im soooooo mad at the moment and unsure what to do. any suggestions???? xxx

Be fair.....5 days is not a huge amount of time to wait, and there maybe a good explaination. Putting something like this on a forum isnt likely to get you your stuff, and could make life difficult for what maybe a new business. These posts show up on search engines.

I've had this with Amazon. Sometimes it's just the post. As others said give it a little longer, especially as your 9 days is actually less (the post doesn't count weekends as business days). It is a bit silly if they've said the next day as they can't guarantee that - the Royal Mail T & C's say they *aim* for next day, but do not guarantee it.

I think 9 days after being told next day delivery is rubbish, and the fact theyve not got in touch when youve left them messages speaks volumes. If its the post they could at least communicate with you. From hearing this i personally wouldnt use them

I can beat that. I ordered a personalised jacket on April 17th. I received it on may 26th (had to chase it up) and returned it may 27th recorded delivery as it had a spelling mistake.
I'm still waiting.. phoned/emailed several times -'we'll phone you back'..
no phone call, no email..
good luck getting your stuff

Sorry but pmsl, its usually me stuff like this happens to :D:D

I think the thing that would annoy me would be the lack of communication fair enough if they are having problems or its been dispatched but to ignore your efforts to speak to somebody is just rude and this drives me mad. It doesnt cost anything for a quick email to respond to your query!

Communication is easy to maintain & there can be no valid reason why they don't keep in touch or answer emails.

Additionally, the name 'Chaos Equestrian' may give you a clue as to how they may be with the running of their business? :(

I had a going-on with a mail order company a couple of years ago - emails and calls not returned or replied to. Surprise surprise when I threatened them with trading standards via email I was contacted immediately. The excuse was that their server was down, but that doesn't prevent the phone being used. I got a refund that day.

Hope you get your money back

i understand post can be delayed but 9 days (10 tomorrow) when it was supposed to be next working day... but alloew up to 3-5 anyway and it still hasnt come....

it is more the point of no reply no help no attempt to resolve the matter that i am mad at... if they had emailed me back and said we are sorry it hasnt arrived yet we will look into it i would have been fairly happy, but to ignore me has really peeved me off... if i dont get a response by monday or my items i will be contacting my bank xx

oooooooo now your all scaring me - just yesterday i ordered a saddle for £500 - sort of wish i hadnt because im very cautious but how else nowadays?

On the flip side, I sold some saddle cloths on e-bay, posted them last saturday and I got a message today from one buyer asking where it was..... Um somewhere in Royal Mail!!

I remember chasing for a delivery once. Turned out it been delivered a week but for some strange reason the courier had decided the best place to leave it was in the tree house at the bottom of the garden & had put the card in a welly by the back door instead of through the letter box.

I ordered some jumps off eBay 6yrs ago & I'm still waiting!! Seems that 100's of other people are too, at a total cost of £3000!!! Police visited the seller back then & I was told they would be dispatched....still waiting :(

Not being funny but the website looks a bit pap and it comes up with deranged bitch riding under th link to it when you google it.pleasant name fr a clothing range

On two occasions I've had to wait 3months for stuff ordered from Derby House :/

I paid for next day delivery for an item from Derby House. Took a over a week to come and still got charged the higher delivery charge.
But TBF, have had very slow delivery from Equestrian Clearance and Robinsons too.

I buy alot off ebay & have to have everything sent to my work address because for whatever reason (a parcel loving postie???!!) nothing (apart from letters) ever seems to get to my home address!!! Read into that what u will!! Give them a chance, your package could be held up in postal system.

Sorry their service is causing you frustations but the name of the company did make me giggle a little - with a name like that perhaps it's to be expected!

I can't believe someone really thought a name for their business with chaos in it was a good idea! It just doesn't give a good impression imo. It's like the barber shop near me "Mad Nev's" who in their right mind would have their hair cut by someone who admits to be 'Mad'! I know they probably think they are being funny and that they're a bit crazy but in my experience people who think they are funny and whacky generally are not!

Sorry, went off on a complete tangent there, but hope you get your stuff or money soon.
