Awards for the best customer service then?

I'd like to start with both Premier Equine, who have always been really helpful to me, and Ingatestone Saddlery - incredibly speedy and efficient online service (thanks for the link Ifield!)
Any other contenders?

I would ditto on premier equine. Also equestrian clearance for their fast delivery great bargains and generally good service. Finally edgingtons in hassocks, for the great personal service and being so friendly even when you are asking a lot

Even though the rug didn't fit and I tried 2 others Prem Eq were very good and finally refunded me the original rug. Also recently ordered from Greenmule and very nice there and I like Clippersharp nice friendly and very helpful!!

But like the lady in my local tack shop the most as she is so friendly and can't do enough for her customers so hats off to Chalfont Saddlery!!!

Cavaletti are very good and friendly. I contacted them to buy my sister some breeches and wasn't sure how the sizing translated. very helpful and actually suggested that I get her a cheaper pair than the ones I was looking at! and threw in a pair of gloves as I bought the cheaper ones and a gift token to take it up to the same amount

highly recomeded (the goods turned up on the day requested as well )

For face to face Tack and Turnout in Huddersfield, the only tack shop I know which encourages customers to swap bits with each other (no profit at all for them!) and allow the selling of second hand saddles between customers (again no profit for them) oh and our local fish and chip shop which has show schedules on display

Equestrian Clearance. The one time I've ever had a slight problem with them was when an order took a little longer than expected to arrive. We phoned them and they said they were waiting for one of the items (some jods) to arrives and had been hanging on to the other item (body protector) so they could send them together.

The body protector turned up the next day - they put it on a 24 hr delivery when we phoned

The jods turned up the next day with a note to say they had sent some more expensive ones so we didn't have to wait

Premier Equine seems popular.
I ordered a rug in the sale...when it didn't come with their usual speedy delivery, I phoned to whinge....and a nice person speeded it to me so my horse could wear it in the snow.
Excellent service - and I'll buy from them again, and recommend them.

Top of my list is Village Saddlery in Warrington where I recently bought my new saddle and a very close second is Jumpers Horseline. Both friendly, efficient and offer a speedy service with quality products

For saddle fitting from a really knowledgable fitter Mel Lewis at The Horse Shop, Bridgnorth. Fast efficient service & a really nice person.

For a GPA hat that was £70 cheaper than Ayr Equestrian & at least £25 cheaper than anywhere else on the net Eileen Douglas Saddlery & it was free p+p & a rapid service.

Ditto Wormers Direct, they seem to know my horses better than I do! And I must mention farmcareuk.com where we get our electric fencing bits and pieces. They are excellent and quick.

My one and only vote would go to www.vetuk.co.uk - I use them for dog stuff, but they do horse stuff as well - they are fantastic, they are wonderful, I cannot recommend them highly enough

(and no, I am not on commission

I have just rang Janine at Wychanger Barton in Devon who are the most fab saddlers in the world. Their service is second to none. I ordered a Mattes numnah XL platinum off them 10 days ago - they faxed order direct to stockist in Cornwall whom i knew did not have one in stock, they ordered it direct from Germany who dispatched it on the 24 April, Wychanger Barton received it yesterday and telephone me to say it had come and they were posting it yesterday to me. Guess what I have today received it and it is fab. I had previously bought one off them at the British Open at the NEC a few weeks ago and they posted that out and i got it the next day so I can honestly say this is the BEST service I have ever received off any one. Well done Wychanger Barton. My own local saddler has had this numnah on order since the 8 January and I have not received it yet!!!!

oh and also Dodson and Horrell feed advice line - really good advice

NAF similar and products arrive promptly mail-order in emergency

Similarly Nupafeed as I had an emergency need for this after newly foaled mare became dangerously overprotective with the foal

Agree - they are quite sensible, and don't suggest you throw hard feed down your horses' throats (some feed companies' rations seem designed more to sell feed, than anything else).
