After my first ever event at Richmond last August (and forum post) I was hooked and sooo excited to compete a full season this year!
So, I headed off to the 90 at Askham Bryan for my 1st event of the year...

Sid's dressage is still very tense and explosive at times so it was tricky getting him to focus but we still managed to get through fairly unscathed with 37.5 pen again. Although afterwards I realised the flash hadn't been put on correctly so probably wasn't helping! I will eventually learn to check my tack... However, he did look pretty for some moments which was a fair achievement.

The SJ went reasonably well it was a nice round he jumped well but unfortunately I'm suffering from fourfaultitus at the moment!

Lastly, the XC was fantastic and he felt so much more confident as he did last year. We got some lovely comments and cruised round inside the time (not bad for a pony that can't gallop) Hopefully we can make the step up to BE100 fairly soon!

Still haven't got the hang of posting pictures directly onto the post - how do you do it?!!

Thanks to anyone who has read this and is vaguely interested in our endeavours, I have leftover birthday cake for you!

Very well done! I was a fence judge at number 8 that day. (The hay cart) it was a fab day. For photos try photobucket then use the img code to paste your pictures on here.

Second picture won't open and I don't think the third one is meant to be included in the report :biggrin3:

Lovely horse and well done.
