So yesterday, I fulfilled a dream to take my beautiful boy for a blast down the beach :D

As expected he LOVED it, as did I! We are 2.5 hours from the sea so it's not something I can afford to do often.

Just wanted to share some pictures with people who appreciate how brilliant beach riding is as my OH just shrugged!

You really should, its brilliant! All that open space, sea air blowing away the cob webs, sea to splash in, just amazing.

I personally don't like the sea (phobia), so the walking through it was a big stress for me, and it moving made me feel really sea sick!

Went in for some pics then just enjoyed the beach :)

Where did you go to, that horses are allowed on the beach?
Wildly envious! One of my dreams to take our own, but we too are miles away from any coast.

Definitely on my bucket list as well ... have done it on another horse but never got the chance to do so on my old mare
 
Thanks everyone. It was at Theddlethorpe on the East Coast. The company we went with have a permit for horse riders. We were the only ones there. 8km of beach, just for us!
 
Yay lovely I am so jealous and also live far from the sea! One day there must be a mass trip of haffies to the beach, imagine the excellent pictures :-)

Great pics :) it's great to blow the cobwebs away. Can I ask permit for beach ???? Never heard of this,Were 10 mins from beach ride there all the time ( when not broken) .
