My chap had a clip at the yard a couple of weeks ago, to cut a long story short, it is awful, patchy, lines and a weird patchwork effect over his quarters.

Any suggestion how to improve - clip again with A2F or hope that it grows?

At the mo, want to take him out covered up!!

I had to reclip a horse that had been very badly done! just took the clippers over him again and he looked very smart after :)

Just reclip. The number of times I have had to fix dodgy clips is unreal! And these are from so called professional clipping people ...

if they didn't press too hard then you should be able to get away with using the same blades as the originals used. If not then go finer.

Yep...just re-clip. It won't take long and usually when the quarters go like that it is due to dust or grease in the coat, so just make sure you give a really good groom beforehand with a body brush to lift everything. It's not always because of that though...you could have just had a really crap person but it's worth a good deep groom anyway. I then always give them a run over with the BB again before packing the clippers away just in case it shows up little lines to re-do.

It will never cease to amaze me what some people do and then have the gall to call themselves professional!
