Awful news

have just heard that a family lost their daughterr ( she cannot have been more than 10) yesterday at MK eventing centre.we used to keep out horses with them a couple of years ago. the little girl was jumping her pony in a class when it landed on her- breaking her neck and killing her outright,
words cannot describe my sorrow for them, to lose a child must be horrendous.simply awful news. I shant post her or her family name out of respect until the news is realsed.she was such a happy child.

to say I am in complete shock is an understatement.
i cannot imagine how her parents feel.such a young child.
apparantly she had jumped and won her first class too.

That is awful, a similar accident happened at NH on sunday but thankfully child was hurt but ok. Cant imagine how the family must be feeling

OMG, my thoughts go out to the girls family. Having just had a look at the schedule it does highlight the risk we put ourselves in everytime we ride especially as the biggest class was only 85cm.
