If I read correctly, I may be only the second reply who's horses are still out 24/7 ?

Nope, two TBs and and ISH all out 24/7, choosing to ignore the shelter and stand in the middle of the field eating, while being lashed with rain and gales
And they're not standing at the gate when I arrive with their dinners either
You get what you expect... if you expect that horses are delicate flowers who need to be wrapped in pretty coloured rugs and stood in cosy beds, warm as toast, that's what you get.
If you expect that horses are designed to live outside, in a social group, move around as they wish, and graze 18 hours a day, knowing how to deal with different kinds of weather, that's what you get
