Hmmmm I must be getting cynical in my old age. Ship him over from France, spend thousands on him, then literally give him away and then don't know where he goes? Advertise on ebay? Something not right, and it mentions the F word which makes me wonder ....

Thank you to the kind thoughts.

In response to the "sounds fishy to me", I am that person and after reading your posting I am compelled to join up simply to respond to your posting!

Yes, I rescued my lad from France, totally swept off my feet by the photographs of him starving and heart took over my mind, I am a very rational person and his plight took over my life, I brought him back from France and he was very poorly and hugely and understandibly mistrusting of humans. I spent thousands on him selling my car and whatever I could to get him back to health and spent all my spare time giving him as much attention as I could, my wedding was just three weeks away at the time I rescued him and my fiance walked out on me as he couldnt stand the attention I was giving Ome.

I was compelled to rescue him and despite what you people feel whether it is right or wrong, it was right for me and ultimately saved him and gave him life, he is a very special horse who will go so far. I was in very sad circumstances where I had to make the decision to sell him, it broke my heart to part with him and someone that I thought was very special and fell in love with him came along, despite the fact that I was practically broke I asked for just a very small fee as a fantastic home for life was much more important to me than the money, the girl didnt have much money to spend but it seemed right, I gave her everything with him as they were his and belonged with him.

Despite all attempts to get updates from her she just did not bother, if you simply do a search on google with his name you will see all the postings Ive put everywhere trying to find out where he was, I never gave up trying to find out where he was since he was sold 6 months ago, I feel totally cheated by her.

I hope this has cleared this up for you! Im not even going to defend my rescuing a geniune horse that did not deserve that fate that awaited him. It is down to individual choice and the people that poo poo the idea of it then shouldnt consider it.

Having seen the ad offering him for loan there are certainly people who post on here (and in fact X_sammie_X who I don't think does now) who are "friends" with leah on horsemart.
