I have just had one of those moments where I feel lucky lucky lucky

I am sitting in my conservatory in the slightly cooling sun, with my 2 girls in their stables. One of them just popped her head out over her door, looked in my direction, and neighed at me

OK - totally pointless post, but sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses, as opposed to the horse-sh!t! (And also, I'm ignoring the fact that she has run out of hay, and due to her enormous belly is being left temporarily without any, so is only neighing at me cos she wants fed )

Right, will leave you all to chortle at my soppiness....

I kinda know the feeling, had a pony day at the stables today,sorted the kids out and tacked the ponies up, then went for a good groom and cuddle with the pony I ride, Bonnie, really made my day perfect!

I know how you feel.
This morning I took a photo of the pony who has been with us for just over 2 weeks, curled up in the field, with the sheep lying next to her, sunbathing, while the others were inside eating their breakfast. Then I got a kiss (almost unheard of) from the retired cob when I was brushing her prior to putting her back out.(Inserts smug smiley)

My boy always gives me a little low frequency whicker when I give him a couple of treats.

I like to fool myself into thinking he's saying 'ohh yummy, thanks'.
