Axiom rugs

I've been told Swish rugs are quite similar.

not in my experience they aren't. Axiom are deeper, absolutely waterproof and better on a slightly wider chested horse than Swish (which I found narrow-worse than Amigo). Shame axiom are no longer about-they are superb rugs in very wet weather, the only thing I thought could be better were the necks, as they slip down a bit.

what are you after? I have some outgrown ones and one, small brand new one.

I would be interested.

I'm after a 6' no neck the 300g weight, the odd thing is I had a brand new green camo rug that I bought for a cob and never used (it was still in the bag) but though I bought it around the same time as the blue camo that has done so well it doesn't fit quite as nice round the neck, though I can change the broken leg strap for a fillet string so not completely stuffed,

I'm really disappointed they're not making them anymore, I have two and they're my favourite rugs over the other weatherbeetas and ruggle rugs I have!

oh b*gger. I have a heavyweight turnout for my old boy and its done sterling service, never leaked, and easily mendable (H is a rug wrecker) after it ran the gauntlet of a load of blackthorn bushes. I'd love another one and would have thoroughly recommended them to anyone. Why is it all the good stuff gets discontinued . . . .

I can't find them now. It was two weeks ago. Sorry, I may have been mistaken. I just remember thinking these rugs were exactly the same but weren't Axiom. :(

I too have an Axiom Rug,....a Winter 220gm Combo one and bought it over 6 years ago now and it's STILL going strong. One of the best rugs i've ever exchanged my money for. They are tough rugs.

If you can find Axiom Rugs...buy them....you won't regret it.

I agree, great rugs, i have one which is about 6 seasons old at least and only had it reproofed this year when i got it cleaned, it is still going strong!
shame if they are no longer in business :-(
