I am trying to find a B&B for my horse and me in the Dorchester (Dorset) area, i have searched the web to no avail. Does anyone know of anything suitable or where to look for the end of Feb. thanks

Have you had the local area tourist board guide. They list B&B's. It might be worth ring some farm based ones to see if they would be prepared to put up the horse as well as rider.

Farmstay uk have a website and many of the farms offer accomodation for horses, there will be a symbol to look for on the details. It used to be www.farmstayuk.co.uk but may have changed. (I used to be a member of over 1000 members so you should find somewhere!)
