All those interested in B+E information and are thinking of taking the test, I have answered many questions on other post and shared documents helping you calculate if you even need to do the test etc.
I now have it confirmed from the DVLA, the final part of my months of reserach, to come back to me:
If you are driving on a provisional trailer entitlement the person who is supervising you must have either:
A: Past their test pre-01/01/97
or
B: Passed their driving test over 3 years ago (Cat. B) and have done their trailer test (B+E). There is no time limit on the B+E section, you could have passed it 2 days ago, as long as you have passed the Cat. B over 3 years ago and are over 21, you are fine to supervise a B+E learner.
