Like michen I had to pass the driving bit more than the trailer bit ?
I did mine with weekly lessons rather than one session which I think was better for me cause I needed the time to decompress. I had trailer at home to practice. My instructor had a small trailer with a water balanced weight in the back so whislt it was legally large enough for b&e it was vastly less scary than a proper horse trailer. Once I had the test it just took some getting used to much like driving your own car after your driving test would.
the actual test has a structured flow to it though, you have to do your checks 828983 times, reverse, unhitch, checks, rehitch, checks, drive off...look in mirrors!!! All 3 of them!!
I failed my first test because I failed to look in my rear view mirror at a red light, because “someone could have walked in between the car and trailer and you will have just killed them”
