.... a saddle and a *drum roll* RIDER!!!!!! I have found a FANTASTIC young chap, who does some schooling for people at the yard and I watched him ride last night and WOW - I hope that one day I can ride with hands a wonderful as his! He is keen to help me get B up and going, to prepare her for her summer away. This chap used to be the real deal in the Junior/YR SJ world, but gave up competitive riding. Will try to get pics!!! Am very excited!! B is not getting as much food fo the next week and I will be getting her used to saddles again (she's used to a roller), as she hasn't been sat on for over 2yrs now! He reckons he will be able to tell almost immediately if she can jump - quite how I have no idea, but still - AM EXCITED!!!!

Good for you. YO in our yard usually can tell straight away if they can jump or not be interesting for you to watch.

S wasn't ridden for 18 months and he has come back in to work more enthusiastic and he hasn't forgotten a thing.

I think that time off has done us both the world of good.
