Just got an outgrown rug out to photograph for ebay as I've been waiting for a clear day when it will hang over the fence without blowing away & some vermin has chewed a couple of places in the lining.
The outer is intact and waterproof and all the straps and fastenings are ok.
From the outside it looks new and it would still be functional.

It is a 5' funky pony 250g.

Do I bother to ebay it with photos as is or just put a card in the local feed store/ livery yard at a tenner? I would have expected £20 for it in it's near new state.

I know how you feel im currently raging a huge war against rats who seem to use my tack room for midnight discos! I spend every morning cleaning up their poo!
Some rug companys will give a a small fee (£5-10) for old broken rugs as they use the surcingles etc for repairs :)

oh i hate that, my share horse has a h/w and the same happened to that, i wouldnt bother with whole ebay thing, try the feed store/ livery yard option, and if that fails then try ebay? :)
