So...well...I wasn't going to spend any money. Cause I don't really have any money to spend. But some of you may remember more than one thread over the past few years, expressing my frustration with having hard-to-fit feetsies...well, these kind of came home with me from Blair, which means that now we've got our (new) gear, we'd better get our idea:

In addition, a pic of the ponies today, mowing my lawn (the Ballerina Mare is the one looking up; she's a bit round, and needs riding. With the shiny new boots. The Spooky Pony is ready to start his physio in preparation for being sat on again, as well!):

And one of Black Cat, since it's just over a year since he lost his tail:

Anyone else got anything to fess up to?

Yes, I'm very bad and have plenty to confess. I was at the PC Champs the weekend before Blair and bought riding tights and a top from Noble Outfitters - I try to justify it by claiming they're work clothes so essential!

And then Blair - it was very bad or very good depending how you look at it! The first couple of days I *only* bought a hat, an RDA buff and salt licks for the horses so I felt quite virtuous ;)

However then OH and I paid a visit to our favourite jewellers/gem merchants as I had a necklace that need adjusting. My lovely OH has bought quite a few thing for me from them over the years including a beautiful sapphire ring with horse heads. It just so happened they had a bangle with stones that matched my ring, my OH was looking at it and the seller insisted I test drove it for the day to check I liked it! Needless to say I did and it will be arriving for Christmas :D OH then started looking at the rings and has commissioned a matching eternity ring for sometime next year - yes I do know I'm incredibly spoilt :D While he was doing this unbeknown to me, I fell in love with a (much cheaper) silver horse head and freshwater pearl necklace from the jewellers sharing a stand with our friends the gem merchants so I had treated myself.

I then was browsing other stalls a came across a woollen poncho that I just had to have. My guilt levels were then off the scale so to address the balance OH ordered some new wellies for himself and just happened to include a lovely scarf I was admiring - though I did protest especially as it was a ridiculous price for a scarf. To round things off a couple of rugs and a throw were purchased for the house.

So it's a very impoverished EM house at the moment - we don't do proper holidays so Blair does tend to be where we splurge but never usually to this extent. It should be beans on toast for the next year but sadly I hate beans so just toast for me :)

I am thinking of setting up in business training husbands as I think I've made a pretty good job of this one - anyone interested...................?

I went to Blair this year and spent a grand total of £8.30, on food and juice....that was it!

I had really limited time and ran round the stand selling hats, stood in each one trying to catch the eye/find an assistant, failed miserably.

Instead I went to my local shop and bought a new hat and a Micklem bridle. :)

Seems like lots of people have been naughty, then! :D TFF, we deffo need pics, now! :D

Think the Ballerina Mare and one of her numerous grey boyfriends may just be doing a bit of pairs dressage sometime soon. If we can manage to trot next to each other. :D
