Thought I would buy a few new things to inspire me to crack on with my riding, winter blues has meant that I've lost enthusiasm. A new saddlecloth and some new jod's might just do it. Anyway, my bright bay girl has always worn black or white but was thinking about a baby blue, has anyone got any photo's of bays in baby blue. Thanks x

I think it looks lovely...this is the only pic I can find with Snip in matching BB saddle cloth and BB strap boots (please ignore his appalling behaviour and my rather defensive position! He was a naughty baby!)

looks lovely, think I will be brave and go for it. You get called pretentious at my yard if you 'try too hard' with rugs and saddlecloths or matching boots but sod em. I want my girl to look nice for hacking.

Hmmmmm...on second thoughts maybe Baby Blue is a bad omen? lol...here is my previous horse doing the EXACT same thing in the SAME boots and saddle cloth combo...

One of the horses I rode tonight was a bright bay with baby blue saddlecloth (no pics I'm afraid). It's not horrible by any means... but at the same time it does nothing for him. I want to rearrange the tack room to give him his old red one again! Friend did have powder blue everything for her chesnut Welsh B... I was converted - it looked great on him!

Works for us, both my bays have pale blue saddle pads. By accident rather than design, it was just that they were the only ones I liked in the store at the time;)
