I took piccys this morning of my Masterpiece foal especially for AimeeC

but I then got carried away and took pictures of quite a few of the others as well!!

Well we keep putting pictures up of our new foalies but I thought people might like to see how the ones from last year and the year before are getting on

I didn't put many of my foals on last year (I had 17 of them

) but the 2 that did get posted about were Barrie and Will, so I took piccys of both of them and then some of the 3 from 2006 that I have kept

I have asked Law to work her magic and put the pictures on hho from facebook next time she comes on... so hopefully you will have some piccys to look at below soon

and i'm NEVER having that many foals in one year again I have NEVER had so many sleepless nights

but I had a feeling in 2006 it was going to be Romeo's last year and got some extra mares for him, without putting less mares to the other stallions! Having a far more sensible year this year with 6 babies (was 8 but I sold 2 pregnant mares!) and we are aiming for upto 10 next year

I am very pleased with the Vincent colt, yes the Ousbek foal is out of the same mare, I didn't know what to expect crossing Ousbek to her, all I knew that with only 3 doses of frozen semen from him that I needed to use the best possible mare and the most fertile (as the semen was of dubious quality), but I don't think I could have got a nicer foal from the cross! She is also the mum to Neo the Romeo/Voltiare, she has been a super broodmare, one of my best buys! I have had 6 foals from her now, 1 by U'Grand Jete, 1 by Lauriston, 2 by Romeo, 1 by Vincent and 1 by Ousbek.

I still have 2 mares left to foal, one infoal to Masterpiece and one infoal to georgeo the pony stallion I had last year.

scotsmare - Unfortunately I have to sell all the colt foals born this year because we have kept so many colts from the last 2 years.

Thank you! Your masterpiece foal has unfolded very nicely! I LOVE his markings! (I have posted some pics of my Masterpiece foal in a new thread above)

Alot of nice foals but i think the Materpiece one is my favourite closely followed by the Vincent Colt!
