Today we decided to set up a 'Handy Pony' Type course in the school. We had weaving in and out, a scary plastic sheet to walk over, a washing line to go under, a Zig Zag of poles to go through etc, etc.
Pixie was so brave, the only thing that worried her was the black jump block but she soon got over it. She went through/over all the scary things first time and was even giving a lead to the riding ponies. Nothing seemed to worry her.
At the end I loosed her off so she could have a roll, she went potty! She was galloping, bucking and F@rting round the school like a nutter having a great time
Cue me running to get the camera from the car by which time she had calmed down slightly, obviously not wanting me to get any exciting pictures
Here are a few of what I got
The 'Scary' Black block
The Little Minx is going through an 'Is this edible?' stage so she tried....
The gate
The cone
and the 'Scary' black block
As well as me a few times
Sorry they are not very exciting!
And my question - I read on here the other day about how you can measure part of a foals leg to get a rough idea how big they will be. I can't find the post anywhere now!
It was something about measuring from the knee to the hoof but I'm not sure which part of the hoof or which part of the knee
Anyone know the correct way to measure?
