Back/Body protectors

I love my racesafe body protector the comfiest I have ever owned, allthough they dont come cheap. I personally wouldnt buy second hand but that is just my opinion

As above racesfae 2000 I would always buy new. They are the more expensive ones on the market but they are very comfy

I've just got my first ever body protector, it's a Harry Hall Valentine and I've ridden in it once and it was so comfy I forgot I was wearing it! I got in from Equestrian Clearance and it was a bargain!

Def Racesafe. I've just bought one to replace my Rodney POwell one and can't get over how comfortable it is compared to my old one. apparently you're supposed to change your body protector every 7 or so years as the foam starts to change, with this in mind I wouldn't buy 2nd hand!

Someone on here in the know/working in body protector manufacture/sales posted a while ago saying never to buy a second hand body protector. They said that it can actually do you more harm than good if the protector is defective.....

i wouldn't buy a second hand one. i have a Jack Ellis one and its quite comfortable. My daughter used to wear one all the time, and it moulded to her body and became really comfy.
