Back from boot camp

Well i went on work experience this week to my instructors, and brought my lad along with me for convinience (sp) really.

I didnt really know what i was going to be doing but it was great fun!

Did most of the normal things like mucking out horrible straw beds haha!! I also got to ride some amazing horses, both over 17h so was a huge shock as im used to riding my little stumpy connie cross not a wamblood x sports horse and a shire x hannoverian haha!!

I also got to watch my instructor schooling some beautiful horses and also school stumpy for me a few times.

My lad went really nicely for her and was told how much he had come on since she had ridden him last que me looking like this

I then had a lesson on him and did a bit of flatwork. Basically i fiddle with the reins to much so worked on that and then jumped him and promptly fell of after jumping stupidly big over an upright but hey ho!!

Any way i had a really good week learnt loads, met some wonderful horses and my lad behaved very well apart from a little adventure he undertook one morning lol.
