Following on from my recent posting found here which I got some sympathy, some laughter and some disbelief that ellusive little pony of mine is now safely tucked up in her stable ready for the vet tomorrow

Nine people, several lunge ropes, three cars parked blocking exits and two lead horses, we walked merrily up the lane with Flicka loose and in to the barn

So she is no longer offered free to anyone that can catch her, I've got the little cowbag back in the stable

Well...........I cant keep her contained forever, I am going to get some five foot plastic rods to run the electric fencing through and see if that keeps her in.

Was speaking to my YO today and he asked me what I would do if she popped over the top of that. I said, well if she does that she'll be worth a lot of money

I've had a lovely morning up there with them, brushing her and giving her a scratch, she's come and nuzzled in to my arm and been really cuddly. I just dont get her at all!

Everyone else was fine too, although Matti thought we were trying to kill him when my vet chipped him (it wasnt the hot one either, it was the girl, she's really lovely but you know.......) and Figgy would have asked for a general anaesetic (sp?) given half the chance before we jabbed him

Now they're all in the stables and I need to divide the fields more so I restrict Fly & Figgys grazing, my vet said they were on the rather large side and I need to really watch them.

They've got grazing muzzles but I'm not seeing any difference to be honest,

so restricted grazing and only nights it is!

As for Flicka..........I think lots of hands on and grazing in hand until I get that five foot fencing.
