back legs swelling while in at night

My lad comes in at night and in the mornings his fetlock joints are swollen, his left one is the worse of the two.
Im aware this is quite a common problem and they tend to go down when hes been out for a bit.
I was just wondering if theres anything other than bandages i could put on them while hes in??
any suggestions please

The whole stable is rubber matted and then he has cusionbed just over half way down, its quite deep, his stable is huge.
Even when he had a full bed his legs swelled up while in.
The YO horse,s back legs swell as well but she bandages them, which helps.
She turns my horses out for me in the morning and i was goign to try and get some sort of wrap or sonmthing to make it easier for her to take them off rather than messsing aroud with bandages.

Ari's legs do this all round. The idea of having to bandage him everynight makes me feel faint, especially since it does disappear.

Magnetic boots and maybe a circulation boosting herb in his dinner might help?

Ah, was wondering if he might be standing on concrete (at the front of a half bed). I know this made my horses legs swell recently when we moved stables (before his rubber matting had gone down).

All 4 of my horse's legs swell over night but I wouldn't want to bandage hers either (purely because I don't trust my bandaging skills and if they do come off she'll panic!). As long as they go down in the field during the day I'm happy. If she has to be in during the day I take her for a ling walk if possible to try and reduce it a bit before she has to stand in again

My horse has just started getting the same so i have put her on Cortaflex and some magnetic boots and touch wood it has worked and seen a big improvement. I leave the boots on from 7pm to 6am my vet said this would be ok.

My mare wears magnetic wraps at night as her leg blows up, coz of a splint. They are the Areborn ones and are fab

I had a problem with my horse's back leg's swelling overnight -as in lymphangitus. Found out with him it was due to the feed mix he was on (I can't remember what it was he was on actually). I now only use cubes with him -currently Equine Sensitive -and the problem has never reoccured
