Hi I'm looking to get some BOT hock boots for my mare with bone spavin. Ideally to wear before exercise and in winter in the stable if she'll tolerate. I realise i'll probably have to use stable bandages/wraps on her legs to prevent slippage. I've been told the hole versions are best fit but worried about shavings getting in, so interested in people's experiences with the other types (royal/no hole) or if i'm worrying unnecessarily. thank you.
