Just wondering if anyone has a Back on Track saddle pad. I was given one as a birthday present (after making many hints😂). I rode my horse this weekend and it may be coincidence but she seemed to work so much better. I am fully aware of the placebo affect and seeing something where there is nothing but do wonder if anyone has experience with these saddle pads

I've got the saddle pad and rambo ionic boots, rug and saddlecloth. I do think they help. I was sceptical until they really helped a friend with a wrist injury and as she didn't expect it to help I think it was unlikely to just be a placebo effect.

I totally believe they have a ceramic effect of reflecting heat back to body, and so there is a warming effect.

Can achieve sweat patterns if put a piece of tinfoil under rug over horse's quarters too.

But cannot see why want more heat under saddle when most horses working properly will sweat a bit under the saddle cloth?

Can see why might want to warm up loins / back before riding or when travelling etc.
